We are looking to recruit a Project  Manager within the Customer Success Team. This role will take the lead on  successfully implementing our SaaS products to new customers and upsells and  cross sells to existing customers. To be successful in this role it will  require effective close working with internal and external stakeholders  coupled with excellent organisational skills (and a little bit of patience).  The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering our company mission  of developing technology to improve patient outcomes, everywhere. This role  will be primarily home-based, incorporating some onsite working and  associated travel both national and international.  

The successful candidate will have  a background in programme/project management, within the healthcare IT sector.   Knowledge of Cloud hosting  infrastructure, system security, system integrations and data processing  privacy and compliance are required. The role will sit within the Customer  Success team and work closely with implementation Subject Matter Experts, the  wider internal team, and external stakeholders to ensure implementation  projects are delivered in a safe, efficient and effective manner. The  successful candidate will be required to draw on experience and skills to  ensure work is delivered to a high standard, following best practice  principles and within appropriate frameworks.

The Implementation Project Manager will take ownership of project management related activities, driving forward project delivery whilst ensuring stakeholders remain engaged and deliverables are being met. The successful candidate will be required to work as part of an existing high performing, delivery orientated team

Duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Use Agile and  Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to the requirements of projects and  project phases  
  • Ensure project  documentation (PID, RAID, Project Plan, ticketing etc.) is completed and  updated in line with best working practice
  • Provide effective  day-to-day project management for allocated implementation projects
  • Work closely with implementation  Subject Matter Experts and other colleagues in the Customer Success, Product,  Business Development and Technical teams to ensure successful task allocation,  tracking and completion
  • Be responsible for  planning and managing all aspects of a project cycle, including managing  resource, setting deadlines, devising communication strategies, monitoring  progress, liaising with external and internal stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Actively participate  in and supervise each stage of the implementation project(s)
  • Lead effective and  efficient project meetings with clear purpose, value and use of personnel for  both internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Ensure each  project stays on schedule and adheres to agreed deliverables
  • Track project  milestones, deliverables, and changes
  • Serve as a liaison  to communicate information regarding changes, milestones reached, and other  pertinent information
  • Participate in  process improvement planning and metrics
  • Be required to work  onsite incorporating travel and some overnight stays
  • Other duties as designated

Key skills

Essential

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience  
  • Previous healthcare and/or IT project management experience
  • Able to lead and facilitate meetings (e.g. lead workshops)
  • Strong leadership and decision-making
  • Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong inter-personal skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Able to produce high quality documentation
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple competing priorities/projects
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal
  • Confidence to make new contacts, deal with individuals at all levels and provide challenge

Desirable

   

     
  • PRINCE2 and Agile and/or equivalent project management-based certification

  • Understanding of healthcare IT systems and associated workflows

  • Understanding of common healthcare IT terminology such as HL7, ICD, SNOMED

  • Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO27001 and ISO 13485 quality management systems
