We are looking for a hands-on Platform and Cloud Engineer to help strengthen, simplify, and scale the cloud and delivery platform behind our products. The role suits someone with strong Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps capability, combined with a practical, service-oriented mindset. You will improve reliability, observability, deployment maturity, security posture, and infrastructure consistency, while working closely with developers to reduce operational friction and support more frequent, lower-risk releases. We are looking for someone technically strong, pragmatic, and calm under pressure, who is comfortable taking ownership of a cloud estate where priorities matter and good judgement counts.
Apply nowDuties and responsibilities
You will own and improve the cloud and platform foundations that support our products and engineering team. That includes Azure architecture and operations, Kubernetes platform support, CI/CD pipeline improvement, infrastructure as code, monitoring and alerting, identity and access configuration, environment reliability, and operational support.
You will also play an important role in strengthening our security and compliance posture, supporting controls aligned with frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, SOC 2, and ISO 27001, and helping ensure our infrastructure and delivery practices are appropriate for a regulated healthtech SaaS business.
As part of a small organisation, the role includes broader technical operations such as infrastructure troubleshooting, Microsoft 365 and Entra administration, networking support, and occasional out-of-hours work for critical issues or planned changes.
Participation in a paid out-of-hours support rota is required once fully onboarded.
