iQ HealthTech are pleased to announce that their iQemo electronic chemotherapy prescribing system has been chosen to be implemented across 4 NHS Trusts that form the Lancashire and South Cumbria Cancer Alliance.
Lancashire and South Cumbria Cancer Alliance is made up of 4 NHS Trusts, Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and The University Hospitals Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.
The project is scheduled to go-live at the end of October 2019, the implementation project is well underway and will involve a centralised chemotherapy regimen library networked across the 4 NHS Trusts. The new system will be the first of its kind that is hosted externally and accessible via the Internet inline with the new NHS Digital Internet First Policy. This opens up the potential for many innovative applications that will further enhance usability and patient care.
